JUDGING PANEL

We're excited to reveal the judging panel for the O.S.T.R.T.A / SALT LAKE CITY 2023 SHOW. From careers in journalism, editorial, portrait work to academia, this year’s jury brings a range of knowledge and expertise from varied photographic backgrounds. The judging process is completely anonymous (the names of the entrants are hidden from the judges).

TERRANCE REIMER

is a new media visual artist exploring the integration of communicating experiential storytelling concepts and ideas using sound, video and extended reality technologies.

Prior to his MFA studies, Reimer started his career as a photojournalist and since 1999, has been collaborating with many of the most renowned contemporary photographers of our time, creating fine art exhibition prints as a master digital print maker.

His photographic work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally, and is included in the permanent collection of the Santa Barbara (CA) Museum of Art. He completed an artist-in-residence and served as a professor of photography at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin in 2003.  Reimer currently teaches photography at Clovis Community College and CSUFresno.

AMIE SANTAVICCA

Amie works primarily in studio in the PNW (Portland/Vancouver) with frequent travels to her second studio in Tampa, FL. She works with clients of all sizes to create mood-driven portraits, expressive lifestyle imagery, and authentic documentation of anything and everything.

JOSH WOOL

In the simplest of terms, Josh is a portrait photographer. His work spans the advertising, editorial, music, and entertainment worlds.

He found photography in his early thirties after more than a decade as a chef and restaurateur. Finding beauty in simplicity has been the driving force throughout his entire working life. Much in the way food connects us, He seeks to portray connection through the photographs he makes.

ANNA LAERO

is a wedding and portrait photographer based on the east coast with over a decade of experience working with couples across the country. Using film as her medium of choice, Anna specializes soulful, honest imagery to document the here and now, and in between. Her weddings are emotional and timeless. Her family portraits look like they came out of another era. She knows how to capture the heart of an entrepreneur through her intimate branding sessions. And she makes couples look like they walked straight out of an editorial. Anna is the true definition of artist.
